Formed in 2019, Skulls Awake released their first EP Fractures (artwork by Jio Butler) in 2023. They went from a 3 members down to 2, finding their unique heavy fuzzed-out twin-amp sound, and have been menacing people with incediary live performances at shows around Somerset ever since, reaching the Grand Final of Metal2TheMasses - Somerset battle of the bands in 2024 & 2025.
Skulls Awake's groovy, hook laden songs fit well with a variety of genres, well appreciated by fans of alt/rock, punk/hadcore, doom/stoner, nu-metal/metalcore & grind.
In 2025 Skulls Awake will be playing shows further afield in Bournemouth, Bristol, Plymouth and Exeter, with singles recorded by Marcus Delmeida due later in the year.
Skulls Awake are Bart (drums) and Paul (guitar, vocals) and they bloody love it mate.
